Crack filling

Crack filling is the placement of materials into non-working or low movement cracks to reduce compact materials into the crack. There are two types of crack fill such as cold and hot. Cold crack fill can be applied without heating and has to be cured before pavement sealer can be applied. Hot crack fill must be at a melting temperature of 400º before it can be applied to the damaged crack.
